Bahra Cables Company receives world-class KEMA Certification

Bahra Cables Company, the latest and among the leading cable factories in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a member of CPC Group of Companies, has received the world-famous KEMA certification for its range of 0.6/1 kV power cables.

The test certification by the Netherlands-based KEMA Quality BV -- an independent authority in quality testing and certification of power distribution and electrical equipment - is a major endorsement of Bahra Cables' quality processes.

KEMA is an independent knowledge leader and a global provider of high-quality services to the energy value chain, specializing in business & technical consultancy, operational support, measurements & inspection, and testing & certification.

Commenting on the certification, Eng Talal Idriss, Chief Executive Officer of Bahra Cables Company, said:

The certification, valid till July 2012, approves the power cable (including aluminum conductors, XLPE insulation and PVC Sheath) with extruded insulation for rated voltages up to 1kV
