Cairo Amman Bank implements Temenos T24

Cairo Amman Bank (CAB) announced selecting Temenos T24, the global provider of integrated core banking system, designed with the highest levels of efficiency and modern technology providing a robust platform serving the Bank's expansion plans to offer a wide-range of competent banking services across the country.

Following an extensive evaluation process to adopt a global software provider, Cairo Amman Bank signed an agreement with Temenos - Temenos T24 which has been implemented in over 600 financial institutions and 120 countries in global banking sectors.

This system will allow the bank to automate the data capture process in order to improve accuracy and reduce risk. The system will also enable the bank to conduct forecasting based on up to date intelligence, in order to provide customers with the best solutions for their present and future needs.

As a leading bank in Jordan, Cairo Amman Bank is aiming to employ an end to end advanced and robust core banking system that helps the bank realize its products' innovation plans and associated growth potentials; all inline with its continuous efforts to provide modernized services and deliver the best products to its customers through adopting the latest developments and technologies.

It is worth mentioning that the Bank has the widest ATM network in the Kingdom. Throughout the years, the bank conducted a number of pioneering projects; one of the latest is the launch of the IRIS recognition technology as a client identification technique, being the first bank worldwide to introduce this technology for financial transactions in branches and through ATMs.

Moreover, the bank is developing new IT based self service banking solutions through ATMs, mobiles, Internet and kiosks where new services will be introduced in the market.

The adoption of the latest technology reflects CAB's corporate mission which focuses on meeting the developments of the banking sector, enabling the bank to execute strategies based on up to date, accurate intelligence on customer trends, performance, profitability and risk as well as aiming to offer comprehensive services through transparency, accuracy, speed, and precision to achieve growth and reinforce its competitive position in the Jordanian banking sector.
