Oman raises June oil production

Oman's Oil and Gas Ministry has said the Sultanate has succeeded in raising its oil production to 807,000 barrels a day in June in line with the 2009 general budget estimates, Kuna has reported. Reports have showed that Oman's oil production jumped from 784,000 barrels a day in April to 803,000 barrels a day in May, and again to 807,000 barrels a day in June. Average production during the first half of 2009 rose to 792,000 barrels a day compared to 743,000 barrels a day for the same period last year.
