  • Middle East: Monday, August 17 - 2009 at 10:31

Mercedes-Benz has said that it will be the first company worldwide to offer split view technology in the front of a vehicle when the new-look S-Class is launched in the region this month. The new display, located in the centre console, allows the driver and front passenger to simultaneously view different content on the same screen. While the driver uses the map-based navigation system, the front passenger can be watching a film or music DVD. The manufacturer has provided the option of a remote control unit and headphones.
