CBB Sukuk Al-Ijara Oversubscribed

The Central Bank of Bahrain announces that the monthly issue of the short-term Islamic leasing bonds, Sukuk Al-Ijara, has been oversubscribed by 300%.
The expected return on the issue, which begins on 20 August 2009 and matures on 18 February 2010, is 1.05%.
The Sukuk Al-Ijara are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This is issue No. 48 (BH000A0T90V4) of the short-term Sukuk Al-Ijara series.
