Hari Manivannan has recently been named as Head of Customer Service for the Middle East, reporting into Jason Clarke, Head of Global Commercial Operations.

Formerly Regional Product Manager, Hari will now be responsible for all aspects of Travelport's customer service operations in the region, including the delivery of technical services, training and helpdesk support. With a strong background in operations and product management, Hari brings a wealth of expertise to the role.

Ibrahim Marmoush succeeds Hari as the Middle East's Regional Product Manager. Having worked in sales, account management and training for many years before joining Travelport as Regional Training Manager, Ibrahim has accumulated extensive GDS product knowledge. He will report directly into Kristy Davies, Global Director, Product Specialists.

"Both Hari and Ibrahim have the experience, talent and commitment to ensure that Travelport GDS maintains its high levels of customer satisfaction and delivers leading products and services to meet the needs of our customers in the region. I am confident that they will both be instrumental in helping our customers achieve their business ambitions over the coming months,"
said Rabih Saab, Vice President for Travelport GDS Middle East.

The appointments are part of a wider effort by Travelport to realign its operational structure in order to better serve customers at both the global and regional level. Several other new appointments have been made throughout the organisation in order to maintain the GDS provider's position as a global leader in customer service and product satisfaction.

Hari and Ibrahim will be based at Travelport's Middle East headquarters in Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO).
