Pharos Securities appoints Saleh Nasser as Chief Technical Strategist

Pharos Holding for Financial Investments, one of the leading financial services companies in Egypt, announced the appointment of Saleh Nasser as Chief Technical Strategist for its subsidiary, Pharos Securities.

Nasser, who received a Bachelors of Economics and Political Science from Cairo University and went on to receive his CMT certification in 2001, joins Pharos after an eight-year tenure as Chief Technical Strategist for Commercial International Brokerage Company (CIBC) in Cairo.

"Saleh is one of the most prominent technical analysts in Egypt and brings a wealth of experience in the field,"


said Hussein El Sherbiny, Managing Partner and Head of Pharos Securities.

Nasser holds the position of President of the Egyptian Society of Technical Analysts (ESTA) and had headed the ESTA education committee from 2001 until 2008. He is a board member of the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA) as well as a member of its accreditation committee. As a member of the IFTA, Nasser introduced the "Deviation Oscillator" at the November 2003 IFTA annual conference.
