Nuqul Group signs an agreement with the Labor Union

To promote employees by providing a competitive edge, Nuqul Group recently signed an agreement with the Labor Union to ensure and sustain the existing efforts in maintaining improved working conditions.

The agreement entailed an increase of 4% on all salaries of employees under the category of technicians and workers in Fine, Al Keena, Al Snobar Hygienic Paper companies, Perfect Printing Press and Quality Printing Press.

The increase will be effective as of the 1st of April 2010 in addition to the provision of a bonus that equals half the salary to all employees of the mentioned companies recognizing their continuous efforts to be implemented by the beginning of September 2009.

On this occasion Mr. Nicola Billeh, Human Resource Director at Nuqul Group stated:

Mr. Mohammed Zubi, CEO of the Labor Union said: "I take this opportunity to thank Nuqul Group's administration for their commitment to ensure the best working environment for their employees; today we translated this commitment into an effective agreement despite the prevalent financial crisis. This agreement reflects the true partnership between the private sector and the Labor Union and emphasizes the importance of continuous sharing of expertise and knowledge through regular meetings between both parties to maintain the sustainability of development, improved working conditions and the preserving of labor rights."
