Ferguson Group appoints Middle East Business Development Manager

The Ferguson Group, a major supplier and manufacturer of modules and containers for the energy industry around the world, has appointed Mogens Thyssen as Business Development Manager for the Middle East, as part of a continuing global growth strategy.

Mr Thyssen joins the Ferguson Group from Bluewater Shipping in Denmark, which he joined in 2003.

He was promoted to the offshore department in 2005 before moving to their division in Dubai where he held the position of operations manager for CIS traffic and key accounts.

Based in Dubai, Mr Thyssen will focus on promoting Ferguson's modular and container divisions to offshore customers, particularly in the Middle East. His appointment is part of the Group's strategic management restructure, with the aim of enabling the company to further progress its already successful rapid international growth.

Steven Ferguson, managing director of the Ferguson Group, said, "I'm delighted to welcome Mogens to the Ferguson Group. He has built up considerable industry experience in the Middle East, and his knowledge of this market will greatly assist our development in this region."
