Gopslab conducts seminar on core analysis laboratory services for oil operators

Exploration managers, senior geologists and oil executives from Petroleum Development Oman, Occidental of Oman Inc, PTTEP Oman Co, Daleel Petroleum, CC Energy Development SAL, attended the seminar.

Mr Austin Ajufo, Managing Director of Gopslab, conducted the seminar. He presented with slides the salient features of the services provided by Gopslab in the fields of core analysis (wellsite, routine, scal), core preparation and imaging, geophysics, geology, formation evaluation and petroleum engineering for a better understanding of their reservoir systems, to reduce uncertainty and risk and hence maximize hydrocarbon recovery.

Mr Taher Hijjawi, Business Development Coordinator from Gopslab, also lent support to the seminar along with Mr Madhu Nagarajan, Sales Engineer from Rees Oil and Gas Services LLC.

Gopslab have a track record of successfully performing complex formation evaluation aimed at providing a link between geological and engineering attributes.The clients serviced in Middle-East include Saudi Aramco and Enirepsa.

Mr G V Krishna, General Manager of Rees Oil and Gas Services LLC, mentioned that the local support and follow up for the core analysis would be provided by Rees Oil and Gas Services LLC, an Omani company owned by Dr Omar Zawawi and Premier Worldwide Services LLC.
