IKEA Kuwait to launch unique Ramadan contest for foodies

IKEA Kuwait, the globally renowned Swedish home furnishings chain, has lined up a special contest this Ramadan for those who appreciate cooking innovative cuisine.

The 'IKEA Recipe Book 2010' Contest solicits original recipe submissions from one and all throughout Ramadan. Selected recipes and winners will be published in this first-of-its-kind Cookbook which is slated for release towards the end of 2009.

The Cookbook, replete with appetizing visuals, will be available to collect for free at the store in addition to the Charity box which will be available for customer donations. All proceedings from this box will be donated towards local charitable institutions.

"Ramadan is synonymous with hospitality and celebration of cuisine with friends and kind. The IKEA Recipe Book 2010 Contest carries forth this spirit by recognizing the culinary experiments of food connoisseurs and compiling their work for all to enjoy"

says Emile Shaar, IKEA Kuwait Store Manager.
