Ajman University organizes five Ramadan seminars

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, Ajman University of Science and Technology (AUST) is organizing a series of seminars on contemporary issues in science, media, language, literature and Quranic miraculousness, with the participation of a group of scholars and intellectuals from within and outside the UAE.
The event will be attended by a number of media representatives who will be honored by AUST on the same day, August 26, 2009.
The second seminar, to take place on Sunday, August 30, 2009, will be on 'Islamic Literature and Modernism.' It will be given by Dr. Abdul Quddus Ansari, Chairman of the Association of Arts, and Dr. Walid Kassab, Editor-in-Chief of 'Islamic literature' magazine. 'Promoting Arabic Language' will be the subject of the third seminar, which will be attended by a number of linguists, Arabic proofreaders and editors, and members of associations for the defense and protection of the Arabic Language. It will be held on September 1, 2009.
The fourth Ramadan symposium is themed 'Ethics of the Pharmaceutical Industry.' It will be presented by Dr. Ayman Sahli, Executive Director of Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julfar), and Dr. Osama Abdul Rahman, Training Manager of Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julfar).
Pharmacists from Fujairah and Ajman, directors in the medical sphere, deans of UAE pharmacy colleges, representatives of pharmaceutical companies will attend this scientific meeting, which convenes on September 6, 2009.
The University concludes its Ramadan activities program on September 9, 2009, with a symposium on 'The Scientific Miraculousness of the Holy Quran: Creation of the Human.'
All activities will be held in H.E. Dr. Saeed Salman Majlis at AUST's Ajman branch from 9:30 p.m. to midnight.
