Jazeera Airways supports Kuwait's Bayt Al-Zakat charity during the Holy month of Ramadan

Jazeera Airways has announced that it will be supporting Kuwait's Bayt Al-Zakat during the Holy month of Ramadan this year.

Throughout the entire period of the Holy month, the Jazeera Airways website will feature a Bayt Al-Zakat icon, which will provide passengers and other website visitors with a direct link to the organisation's website, allowing them to learn more about the organization's charitable activities and projects, and to pay alms and donate directly to its work.

Stefan Pichler, Chief Executive Officer at Jazeera Airways commented:

"The Holy month of Ramadan is one of the most important times in the Muslim calendar, not least because it provides an ideal opportunity to support the good work that charities undertake throughout the year. By simply providing a link to the Bayt Al-Zakat website, we are reminding people of the importance of Zaka and being charitable during the Holy month, while providing them with a straightforward method to contribute to charity."

Furthermore, Hamad Salm Al-Marri, Deputy of Information at Bayt Al-Zakat, said: "We are pleased to be working with Jazeera Airways to increase awareness of the importance of Zaka, the third pillar of Islam, which creates social interdependence and welfare, in addition to creating awareness about the organisation and the work we undertake to help underprivileged people in Kuwait, which is especially important during this Holy month."
