According to Dr. Michael Gemma, Head of School at Bradenton Preparatory Academy, everyone is very excited about both the new facilities and the new school year ahead:
"Bradenton Preparatory Academy is now ready to welcome its first students, an exciting time for everyone involved in this wonderful project. The teaching staff is eagerly awaiting their new classes, and I'm confident that students and parents will be hugely impressed by the facilities we have created here at Bradenton."
The Bradenton campus spans more than 130,000 square feet and includes a kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, high school, auditorium, gymnasium, fully equipped science laboratories, a performing arts centre, two art rooms and a media center.
Bradenton's 'Open House' will also be attended by representatives of Dubai Sports City's Academies, who will be available to answer any questions that parents or students might have about the sports programmes and courses available to Bradenton students.
"The unique environment at Bradenton Preparatory Academy provides a flexible teaching curriculum to allow students to explore a wide range of performing and visual arts, sporting programmes and other extracurricular activities, while progressing through an advanced American curriculum that includes mathematics, sciences, history, and Arabic language,"
added Dr. Gemma.
Bradenton Preparatory Academy will have a maximum of 18 students in each class, ensuring project-based and student-centered learning experiences.
Registrations for the new school year starting in August 30th 2009 for boys and girls from kindergarten through grade 9 are currently being accepted.
