  • PRESS RELEASE

Reinforcing its initiatives in the social space, Ministry of Finance (MOF) has announced significant support to the 'Mafhas Al Qatat' program launched by the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowment (GAIAE) for constructing mosques across the United Arab Emirates.

As part of their support for building mosques, the MOF staff donated funds to the GAIAE delegation during its recent visit to the Ministry's headquarters, realizing that mosques strengthen religious, spiritual and cultural aspects of all segments of society.

Commenting on the move, Rashid Al Mansouri from the Government Communications Department, Ministry of Finance, said:
"The initiative demonstrates the Ministry's intent to actively contribute to society. It sheds light on the efforts taken by MOF during the Holy month of Ramadan when all believers rush to cooperate to achieve positive goals."

"We thank all the staff for participating in the program. We hope that the General Authority of Islamic Affairs & Endowments succeeds in its endeavor to build, maintain and restore mosques", he added.
