This is on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, and as part of its interest in activating its social programs during this month that holds significant meanings of charitable giving.

The program will be aired on Jordan Television daily during the "Ramadan Ma3na Ahla" program that follows Iftar throughout this holy month.

The program is unique in that it puts forward 15 cases of different families from the heart of the Jordanian community that are brought together by their struggle against life's difficulties and social and material circumstances.

Umniah will be studying these cases and their needs and putting forward the necessary support, which will differ from one family to another, and will accordingly be providing an appropriate environment for these families to have a decent life by helping them find a source of fixed income that will enable them to continue with their aspirations and dreams.

Commenting on this program Mr. Ihab Hinnawi, CEO of Umniah, said:
"The 'Urdon Al Khair...Umniah Al Khair' program aims at improving the standard of living of those families who are participating, not only through material support but also by opening the doors for members of these families to utilize their abilities and develop their skills, motivating them to be productive members of society, encouraging them to make a change in their lives, in addition to enhancing their sense of belonging to society by allowing them to feel that society has given them a chance to build the future they aspire to."

He added, "Our cooperation with JTV as a leading media institution in the Kingdom stems from our belief in the role that the media plays in encouraging responsible institutions to adopt such initiatives and circulate the principals of equal opportunities that has always been at the forefront of His Majesty King Abdulla II's calling in a manner that is distanced from all advertising purposes. Our main aim in this initiative is to find sustainable success stories through direct and positive interaction with different segments of the community as part of our belief as a local, responsible institution in the importance of making a positive change and elevating our society's standards at par with our economic standards, as they are both complementary and essential to building Jordan."

The "Urdon Al Khair...Umniah Al Khair" program adopts the stories of selected families in two episodes; the first episode shows the current circumstances of each family, whilst the next episode sheds the light on the positive change that Umniah has made in cooperation with these families.
