Seha Ambulatory Healthcare Services promotes 'Healthy Living during Ramadan' in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain

The Abu Dhabi Health Services Company's (Seha) Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS) announced the launch 'Healthy Living during Ramadan' campaign and healthcare activities at leading malls in Abu Dhabi & Al Ain and at its healthcare centers.

These activities that are aimed at promoting a healthy and fit lifestyle is a medium for Seha-AHS to express our wishes to one and all during this holy month.

As part of this 'Healthy Living during Ramadan' campaign, Seha, AHS is offering complimentary educational health guides on key topics and a guide to healthcare in Ramadan. Moreover, visitors to the booths can avail free health check-ups that include blood pressure, diabetes and height & weight/BMI.

The educational guides have valuable information like tips on tackling common ailments and modern day lifestyle related health concerns like Diabetes, Middle Age, Basic First Aid, Smoking, diet during Pregnancy and High Blood Pressure.

Elaborating on the campaign, H. E. Saif Bader Al Qubaisi, Chairman, Seha said:
'On the outset, I wish all our customers a very blessed Ramadan This holy month is an apt occasion for Seha, to serve the community and promote good health through different activities such as; blood donation set-ups, malls kiosks offering health check ups and related pamphlet and booklets, patients visitations and other different activities that will be announced by Seha healthcare system facilities.'


Speaking on the launch, Mr. Carl Stanifer, CEO Seha, Director - Seha said: 'On this most auspicious occasion, Seha aims to upheld the values of goodwill and care through our Ambulatory Healthcare Services. Moreover, the health guides will go a long way in promoting healthy lifestyles and good eating habits.'

The malls where Seha - AHS Ramadan booths have been set-up are: Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, Abu Dhabi Mall, Marina Mall, Wahda Mall, Khalidiya Mall, Al Jimi Mall, and Bawadi Mall. Additionally, 5 Seha, AHS healthcare centers across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain will also offer the complementary health guides: Bain Al Jesraen, Khalifa-A and other AHS centers

Dr. Abdel Haddi Al Ahbabi, COO - AHS added: 'Staring-off, we wish everyone a joyous and peaceful holy month of Ramadan. Our campaign aspires to uphold the spirit of the holy month by encouraging fitness and right eating habits. At Seha, AHS, we always strive to serve the community and the Ramadan activities demonstrate our commitment to family healthcare.'

The Seha, AHS booths at malls are staffed with experienced medical professionals, who will also advise on eating healthy and staying fit during Ramadan. The key aim of this campaign is to protect the health of the entire family during the month of goodwill, in turn paving the path to a healthy community.
