Reel Cinemas welcomes more than ten thousand movie-goers in first week

Ten screens are currently operating, with a further twelve to come on line later this year.

The megaplex screened an impressive line-up of international blockbusters in its opening week, including Funny People, G.I. Joe and My Sister's Keeper. Footfall numbers are continually increasing as word of the new cinema spreads.

The halls at Reel Cinemas have been built to above-industry standards, offering ergonomically designed seating with the widest legroom for visitors' utmost comfort. Wider aisles and greater distance from the screen to the first row of seats are other added features.

Mr. Amiri added, "Reel Cinemas is on track to becoming the premier destination for movie-goers in Dubai. So far we have received excellent reviews from movie-goers, with many commenting in particular on the high sound and picture quality in the theatres."

A number of special offers are available at the concession counters to celebrate the opening including a variety of combos with popcorn, hotdogs, nachos and soft drinks. Supersize Mondays and Wednesdays allow visitors to upsize popcorn to large for free with every regular popcorn combo purchased.

Located in the entertainment precinct on level two of the mall, Reel Cinemas has added to the extensive leisure components at The Dubai Mall. The cinemas have direct access from the mall's car park P2 to the lobby for visitors' utmost convenience.
