Travco Travel, Travco Group's subsidiary company, and one of the fastest growing travel agencies in the Fat Eastern market, is anticipating meeting the growing demand for the MICE business in China, as noted by Mr. Hossam Shaker, Far East market department head during his visit in July of 2009.

Mr. Shaker concluded that the Chinese market has exhibited an escalating demand for the MICE business - especially that provided by Travco Travel's MICE department, which has grabbed the attention of the market.

Consequently, China's biggest wholesalers, namely CYTS, BJ, and CTS- BJ, began to negotiate Travco's handling two big MICE groups in 2010. The first one should include 900 pax in February 2010, and the second one for 500 pax in April 2010.

Additionally, and along with MS. Iris Du, Travco China's general manager, Mr. Shaker agreed to participate as a judge in a Chinese TV competition consisting of two episodes about Egypt, where participants competed in general information about Egypt including its culture, traditions, pyramids building, and belly dancing.

He took this opportunity to promote Egypt, and offered winner various gifts and complementary packages presented by Travco Travel.
