Emirates Cement appoints Adham El-Sharkawy as Commercial Director

Adham's appointment signals the company's determination to equip itself to build a strong sales and marketing strategy enforcing the position of Lafarge Group as the world's leader in building materials. Adham brings to the Group his extensive business management experience. As Commercial Director, Adham will be in charge of the overall commercial operations, and will lead the team that will provide best selling techniques and latest marketing services and ideas.

Prior to joining Emirates Cement, Adham was leading the Commercial operations of PepsiCo Int. across the GCC region, where he succeeded in taking Frito Lay Operation Market Share in Saudi Arabia to its highest levels ever of 58% and upgraded the Sales Operation Productivity by 10% thru new Strategy of Go To Market, He also brings with him rich commercial background in fast moving consumer goods industries including British American Tobacco and Procter & Gamble
