Commenting on the launch, Jazeera Airways' Chief Executive Officer, Stefan Pichler commented:
"Abu Dhabi is one of the fastest growing cities in the Middle East, and with its burgeoning arts and cultural scene - not to mention its strategic growth as a business and media hub - more and more visitors around the region are heading there to enjoy - and benefit from - everything that it has to offer."
"Abu Dhabi is a key milestone for us to become the leading regional network carrier. To provide a convenient service to both business and leisure travellers, we have carefully developed our twice daily schedule to ensure that for whatever reason our guests are travelling they can optimise their time. As the airline with the best on time performance in the region, we look forward to welcoming even more business and leisure guests aboard."
Guests travelling from Abu Dhabi can take advantage of great connections over Kuwait to destinations such as Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh plus many others.
The addition of the Abu Dhabi destination continues what has been a busy summer for the airline, having launched additional destinations in the previous two months to some of the region's most popular cities and resorts including the cultural 'half of the world' city of Isfahan, Iran; the ancient Syrian city of Aleppo, the historic Mediterranean hilltop resort of Antalya, Turkey, and the Red Sea Riviera resort of Marsa Alam.
Low fares for the Kuwait-Abu Dhabi non-stop route, and for Jazeera Airways' other destinations, are available on jazeeraairways.com.
Jazeera Airways currently operates a fleet of ten new Airbus A320s. Each aircraft is fitted with the airline's signature leather seating, while the Jazeera Plus (J+) cabin offers business travellers the highest standards of comfort, relaxation and a range of in-flight amenities. The airline flies to destinations in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, Iran, and the Indian subcontinent.
Taxes and surcharges apply on these fares.
