Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment supports Dunkin' Donuts Ahdaaf Ramadan Cup 2009

Dunkin' Donuts Ahdaaf Ramadan Cup 2009, one of the biggest indoor 5 v 5 tournaments in Dubai, kicked off last night.
The launch ceremony was attended by Abdul Baset Al Janahi, CEO, Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders, Saleh Al Hashimi, DCEO, Mawarid Finance Group, David Rodreguez, General Manager - Dunkin' Donuts and the founders of Ahdaaf Sports Club Anas Bukhash, Yousuf Al Hashimi, Mustafa Al Hashimi, Fahad Kazim, along with Jamal Abdul Naser, Manager Ahdaaf Sports Club. The teams of Dunkin' Donuts and Al Madallah played the opening match.
Commenting on the tournament, Abdul Baset Al Janahi, said, "I congratulate Ahdaaf Sports Club for launching the Ramadan Tournament. This initiative is a fruitful joint venture between MBRE and Mawarid Finance Group, which reflects the prestigious position the club has achieved within its first year. The concept of Ahdaaf has successfully attracted a large number of football fans and reflects the importance of such projects in supporting the business sector, especially when built on professional measures which are essential for the success of any enterprise."
The tournament's organizing committee held a raffle draw to select the teams and groups that will be participating in the championship. Twenty teams from across the UAE were selected and placed into four groups A, B, C and D.
Anas Bukhash said, "I welcome the participating teams in this tournament, which is being held for the first time in the UAE. The first and second place winners will receive cash prizes amounting to Dhs50,000. In addition, the best goalkeeper and best gaol scorer will be awarded."
Bukhash added, "I thank Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders for their support to this initiative. The establishment has provided our project with maximum support ever since it was in the concept stage. We have organized a number of tournaments within less than one year, which include the Ahdaaf Philips Cup, Ahdaaf Confederations Cup, Dunkin' Donuts Ahdaaf Ramadan Cup 2009, as well as the Ahdaaf Ramadan PES Tournament for Play Station, which will kick off next week. Special thanks also to Dunkin Donuts, the Title Sponsor; and to Pioneer Auctions the Golden Sponsor of this tournament. The support of these organizations reflects their appreciation for sports and their commitment towards participating in various sports and social events."
Ahdaaf Sports Club LLC, is a member of Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for young Business Leaders. The club is the first of its kind in the UAE and provides FIFA standard artificial grass (Astroturf) football fields where players can enjoy challenging football games in unique environment.
