About Aldar Academies:
Aldar Academies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aldar Properties PJSC, was formed. in the spring of 2007 to meet the pressing need for increased access to good quality education provision in Abu Dhabi as a result of a rapidly expanding population and the upcoming delivery of a significant number of Aldar projects.

Aldar Academies places schools at the heart of new and existing communities by establishing high-quality sustainable educational provision within stimulating and secure environments. It is also part of the Academies' goal to support the Abu Dhabi Education Authorities with their wider mission of raising the standards of educational provision throughout the Emirate.

Our team includes managers with extensive experience of education in the Middle East, as well as staff who have delivered large scale school design and build programmes and the management of all aspects of education on a national scale.

Two Aldar Academies are currently open - The Pearl Primary School, which opened in September 2007, and Al Yasmina, a school that will eventually cater for students aged 3 to 18 opened in September 2008. A third, Al Muna Primary School will open in September 2009.

These schools offer an International British Curriculum but other curriculum may be offered at future locations depending on the local community served. The International Baccalaureate, American Curriculum and Arabic Curriculum will be considered where appropriate.
