Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank appoints Nawal ِAl Bayari Business Head for Ladies Banking

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), the region's leading Islamic bank, has appointed Mrs. Nawal Al Bayari who is a UAE national as Vice President, Business Head for Ladies Banking.

Her role will be to ensure development of new products and services for women customers of the bank and continuous upgrade in delivery of women banking services.

Mrs. Nawal has extensive regional experience in top-tier banks such as Barclays, Dubai Islamic Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and American Express. Spanning a decade, her experience in functional areas such as wealth management, private and premier banking and international and Islamic banking will be drawn upon to make the Women Banking division of ADIB the most sought after by clients in the region.

Prior to joining ADIB, Nawal AlBayari was with Barclays Bank for two years, overseeing business coordination and leading commercial, retail and premier banking product lines in over 15 emerging market countries across MENA, Africa, Asia & Eastern Europe. Her earlier role with Barclays as Premier Product Manager & Arab Segment Manager for the UAE Business helped hone her marketing and sales, product development and resource management skills.

Preceding that, Mrs. Nawal was Relationship Manager & Acting Head of Private Banking for Ladies at Dubai Islamic Bank where she was responsible for the sales of all Private Banking products for women customers. As Business Support Manager for Offshore Accounts at Standard Chartered Bank's International Banking Wealth Management division, she built upon her learning about operational aspects of banking that she had gained at American Express. She has undergone a host of training programs conducted by banks she has worked in and completed them with flying colors.

Nawal AlBayari holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Beirut University. An ardent Karate practitioner black belt (4 DAN), she has an Instructor certificate from the Japan Karate Association and a Referee certificate from the West Asian Karate Federation.
