MUISCD welcomes new undergraduate and postgraduate students

The Murdoch University International Study Centre Dubai conducted an Orientation Day on Sunday, August 30, 2009 for new undergraduate and postgraduate students joining the university in the autumn intake.

Two separate orientation sessions were organized ensuring all students were introduced to life at university and to help everyone complete the necessary formalities required for enrolment.

MUISCD Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor John Grainger welcomed both sets of students to the university community and thanked and congratulated them for selecting MUISCD as their preferred institution of higher education in the UAE.

The orientation presentations were conducted by the Admissions and Student Services team, covering the enrolment process and the services and facilities available on campus such as the Teaching and Learning Centre, IT Helpdesk, library, transportation, counselling, sports and recreation.

The students were also briefed about transfer opportunities to Australia, general policies, the Code of Conduct on campus, faculty, internships, employment opportunities and graduate outcomes, followed by a question and answer session.
