Dubai Trade partners DMCC on Rosoom online payment services

Dubai Trade, the innovative online service provider of Dubai World, welcomed Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), which has signed up for the trade portal's Rosoom online payment services.

This enables registered members of the commodities business leader to make use of the various transaction options available on the widely accessed platform.

Rosoom the centralized e payment gateway on www.dubaitrade.ae offers a wide range of electronic payment services for customers to make online transactions with leading commercial establishments such as DP World, Economic Zones World.

In addition to these, DMCC's registered members can now access Rosoom to top up their e-deposit. This feature will help them pay online for important services such as visit visa, employment visa, official letters and health cards.

Mahmood Al Bastaki, Director, Dubai Trade, said:

Rosoom is currently one of the most effective and popular online payment systems accessed by Dubai's trading community. This multiple transaction platform enables real-time transfer of funds from the customers' bank account to the entity's account for settling bills. This secure single-window electronic facility has been hailed by the business sector as an excellent cost-cum-time saver. Launched in March 2008, Rosoom facilitated 162,000 transactions in one year, totaling an amount of Dhs135, 000,000.

Dubai Trade's integrated electronic payment solutions cover the entire supply chain and bring together into a single community all the companies that interact with Dubai's ports, customs and the free zone for the purpose of trade.

DMCC is one of the important strategic initiatives by Dubai Government, that has been providing its registered members with a unique opportunity to trade in various kinds of metals and commodities.
