Four Points by Sheraton Bur Dubai set to unveil its new rooms and a whole new experience
- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, September 01 - 2009 at 09:26
- PRESS RELEASE
After closing all of its 125 guest rooms for a total renovation exercise in May 2009, Four Points by Sheraton Bur Dubai is now all set welcome guests into its new-look new-feel rooms.
The Dhs22m investment made by hotel owner, The First Investor LLC is a reflection of the hotel's commitment to elevate its services and facilities, underlining its' values of providing guests with a casual, relaxing and hassle-free stay. The FITOUT and IDStudio have both been commissioned to transform the guest rooms, incorporating all signature elements of the Four Points brand.
Guests checking into any of the new bedrooms will immediately be embraced by the warm ambience resonating from a neutral backdrop accented by a key Four Points brand colour i.e deep red, light blue or light green. The relaxed feeling is further enhanced by the American walnut door and wall claddings; oak desk, coffee table, night stands and a carved wood for a textured bedhead. Guests are sure to wake up feeling refreshed after a night's sleep in the Four Points Comfort Bed.
The open bathroom concept creates one visual volume increasing the sense of seamlessness from bedroom to bathroom. As you walk into the bathroom, you will immediately feel a sense of lightness and space, set off by the off-white crystallized marble and light palette. With the guest's utmost comfort in mind, the unique luggage rack and wardrobe combination allow for easy usage whilst a chaise lounge provides a simple and calming alternative to the traditional sofa set.
The design of these new guest rooms is timeless and cozy - intertwining a clean and modern look with an accent of local traditions as featured in the art work above the bed head, which highlights the 4 interchanges of Dubai's most famous road - Sheikh Zayed Road.
"The upgrade of the rooms will complement our other facilities and well-known service culture, ensuring that we continue to exceed guests' expectations, maximising guest service levels', says Sanjeev Gohlan, General Manager of the Four Points by Sheraton Bur Dubai.
The hotel is also known for its superb food and beverage offering including the award-winning Antique Bazaar Indian Restaurant and The Viceroy English Pub. In addition, the hotel offers state-of-the-art conference facilities which are great for those high profile meetings accommodating from 2 to 200 colleagues. Alternatively, smaller gatherings can meet up in the smaller function rooms. Recreational facilities include a fully equipped gymnasium, outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi and a rejuvenating range of massage treatments.
Local residents and hotel guests alike regard this 10-year old hotel as their favourite place due to its easily accessible location. Situated in the midst of Dubai's commercial and banking hub, the Four Points by Sheaton Bur Dubai is 10 minutes' drive from the Dubai International Airport, the Dubai World Trade Centre and the serene Jumeirah Beach Park. The hotel is also walking distance from shopping centres, the Dubai Museum and in close proximity of the Gold, Spice and Textile souks. A short walk to the Old Bastakiya area brings you back in time to the days before air-conditioning, where traditional courtyard houses were cooled by wind towers.
