Fujitsu Technology Solutions appoints new Managing Director for Middle East

Fujitsu Technology Solutions today announced the appointment of Farid Al Sabbagh as Managing Director for the Middle East.

Al Sabbagh will be responsible for driving the company's regional growth, with particular emphasis on streamlining the channel network.

Al Sabbagh said:
"Fujitsu is fully committed to its customers and channel partners in the region, and my primary focus will be on ensuring profitability for the company and our partners, and further developing opportunities in the areas of enterprise and services. The company will continue to be actively involved with the business trajectory of our partners and the role they play in growing the company's regional market share."


He added, "Fujitsu will focus on providing support through new initiatives that will enable our partners to provide superlative levels of service to customers throughout the region."

Al Sabbagh joined the company in 2000 as Sales Manager for Fujitsu Siemens Computers' Distribution and spent six successful years establishing the channel and distribution business in the newly organized Middle East organization. Having moved to Cisco to take on a MEA regional role as SMB and Channel segment lead in 2006, he returned to the company as the Channel Sales Director for the MEA and India region. Farid holds a Diploma in Marketing from Munich FH.

Stephane Rejasse, who previously held the position of Managing Director for the Middle East, takes on the task of growing the company's Africa business with particular focus on channel development and empowerment.
