Approximately 60,000 meals are likely to be served this year.
With access for people around and within the community, a cross-section of people including office-goers, workers and the general public is expected to participate in the Iftars everyday to create a strong sense of community bonding.
Mr Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Managing Director - UAE, Emaar Properties, said:
"Demonstrating the solidarity of people, Iftars highlight the significance of the adage, 'those who eat together, stay together.' Emaar has identified community meals an ideal opportunity for people to meet and interact, and the Iftar meals have been organized to foster community spirit at Emaar during the Holy Month of Ramadan."
Emaar's community Iftars are held at Al Samad Mosque next to Meadows Town Centre; Al Wahed Mosque next to Springs Village; The Greens mosque near Emaar Business Park; the temporary mosque near Arabian Ranches Retail Centre; the Polo Club mosque at the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club; and the Prayer Hall at Level 2 of South Towers, Marina Walk, Dubai Marina.
