Saudi car sales to surpass 2008 levels

Saudi Arabia, which imported more than SR38bn worth of cars and spare parts in 2008, is expected to see a 5% increase in auto sales this year, surpassing the 545,000 units sold last year. The kingdom has 1.8 million of the estimated four million cars in the GCC, the report said.
