It may be noted that MOE is one of the first agencies to adopt energy conservation programs in the Kingdom and these units will save a significant amount of energy due to their high energy efficiency ratios.
The value of this prestigious contract is set at approximately SR51m ($13.6m). The company will manufacture and supply more than 25,500 RAC units with a cooling capacity of 2-ton each, and expects to complete delivery of the products by the end of November 2009.
The agreement to supply and deliver room air conditioning units to the government schools across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represents the latest in a long sequence of similar contracts successfully fulfilled by Zamil Air Conditioners.
The company is a widely recognized provider of Room Air Conditioners and Central air conditioning systems and has demonstrated proficiency in providing solutions that meet the specific cooling requirements of governmental, commercial and industrial facilities across Saudi Arabia.
