The products supplied for this project have been specifically designed according to MOE specifications, particularly with regard to energy efficiency, performance requirements and special features.

It may be noted that MOE is one of the first agencies to adopt energy conservation programs in the Kingdom and these units will save a significant amount of energy due to their high energy efficiency ratios.

The value of this prestigious contract is set at approximately SR51m ($13.6m). The company will manufacture and supply more than 25,500 RAC units with a cooling capacity of 2-ton each, and expects to complete delivery of the products by the end of November 2009.

The agreement to supply and deliver room air conditioning units to the government schools across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represents the latest in a long sequence of similar contracts successfully fulfilled by Zamil Air Conditioners.

The company is a widely recognized provider of Room Air Conditioners and Central air conditioning systems and has demonstrated proficiency in providing solutions that meet the specific cooling requirements of governmental, commercial and industrial facilities across Saudi Arabia.

Over the years, Zamil Air Conditioners has pioneered the manufacture and supply of innovative products and solutions for customers with widely varying requirements - in particular, governmental agencies and institutions.

Osama Bunyan, Executive Vice President, Zamil Air Conditioners, with regard to the new contract, said:
"As the government continues to invest in the improvement of the educational infrastructure across the Kingdom, Zamil Air Conditioners has been and will continue to be a trusted partner in its efforts."
