Dutco Balfour Beatty commenced mobilizing works on The Tiger Woods Dubai site in July this year. By the end of September, a workforce of 500 will be on site working simultaneously on the Clubhouse, Golf Academy, and the sanctuaries.
The 145,000-square foot Al Ruwaya Clubhouse is the centrepiece of the development, offering commanding views over the 18th, 16th, 10th, and 1st holes.
Additionally, the Clubhouse will host a Tiger Woods Memorabilia Gallery, a themed restaurant and a 2,200-square foot pro shop, among other private members-only facilities.
The Al Ruwaya Golf Academy will feature a state-of-the-art instructional studio, a purpose-built golf training gym, and a refreshment outlet and lounge. To be staffed by PGA instructors, the Academy will be surrounded by an unparalleled practice range that includes four individual teeing areas to allow for hitting under variable light and wind conditions. It will also encompass an extensive short game area.
