An hours educative seminar on Cisco Wireless Technology ran to a packed audience.
"The student community at Sharjah College shares a high interest in new technologies. Our idea was two fold; firstly to bring home the convenience, mobility and productivity benefits of Wireless LANs and secondly, to highlight the fact that Cisco Wireless LAN products are uniquely positioned to deliver the benefits of wireless networking in a campus environment." said Jitendra Kapoor, New Technologies Manager at OnLine Distribution Ltd.
He also added, "The students were very impressed with the dual mode operation of the Cisco 1200 series access points and the wireless bridging concept."
"Cisco's stringent adherence to IEEE standards ensures uniformity and the WiFi certification leads to interoperability, thereby reassuring users that further development in this evolving technology will make it almost impossible for mid air data packet high jacking by intruders" said Sandor Fulop, Professional Services Manager at Online Distribution Ltd.
We thank Prof Nader and the administration of Sharjah College for giving us this opportunity to work with the student community and look forward to partnering with them in the future.
