The solution will be managed remotely and will connect the main hotel based in Bur Dubai with the other branches on a single network.
Citymax is the latest addition to growing number of hotels in Avaya's hospitality portfolio. Opening its doors later this year, Citymax hotels are conveniently located in Bur Dubai, Al Barsha, and Sharjah.
The group aims to have 20 hotels across the region within the next five years, catering to budget-conscious business and leisure travellers.
Olive, an Avaya partner in the UAE, has been assigned the task of successfully deploying the solution. Each guest room will feature an Avaya analogue phone, while the hotels back-office operations will be equipped with Avaya's IP Telephony solutions with Unified Communications features such as Extension-to-Cellular, ensures that calls bound for a hotel employee's business number or extension will ring simultaneously on both their office phone and their mobile phone. Hotel staff can transfer or conference calls, as well as answer calls on multiple lines with their mobile phone. This enables them to move freely through the hotel and attend to any calls or guest requests at any time.
