Lara El Saad, UAE Leader of GE Volunteers said:
"GE Volunteers is committed to building partnerships with the local community, and community Iftars highlight the spirit of camaraderie and sharing that marks the Holy Month of Ramadan. Our initiative to host the Iftar for students at the Senses Center is our third activity for GE Volunteers in the UAE and reiterates our focus on reaching out to all cross-sections of the society, especially children."
GE Volunteers actively participated in the festive event. A sumptuous spread of delicacies was prepared for the Iftar and the students received gifts. Several games, face painting sessions, clown acts and other entertainment events were arranged to engage the children.
