Western Digital to 'Show and Tell' at Gitex 2009

Western Digital Corporation (WDC), a pioneer in data storage and a leader in the hard drive industry globally, will be officially launching their latest best-in-class internal drives and the newly revamped Branded Product line which features new technology, cool colours and larger capacities at Gitex 2009.

For the first time, Western Digital will have their own 'show and tell' space which will run in parallel with the trade show in the Ajman Meeting Room A, B, C at the Dubai International Convention Exhibition Centre (DICEC) on the 19th, 20th, 21st of October between 9am and 5pm.

In addition, Western Digital will also be present with all participating distributors and partners within the consumer hall.

The 'Show and Tell' event is part of WD's continued dedication to building strong relationships with their partners and is a reflection of their leadership in the storage space. Both visitors and partners present at Gitex 2009 will experience 'hands-on' the diversified portfolio of innovative products exemplified by the company's most recent additions to the internal and external storage product line.

At Gitex 2009, Western Digital will be demonstrating their latest technology innovations in the internal, external and multimedia product range for end user customers and channel partners. Some of the products that will go on display will include:-

- The Industry's first 1TB Hard Drive- WD Scorpio Blue SATA 2.5-inch hard drive
- The Worlds' first 4TB dual-drive storage system for creative professionals and Mac Computer Enthusiasts- My Book Studio Edition II dual-drive storage
- The newly redesigned WD My Book World Edition II dual- drive network storage system in capacities of up to 4 TB.
