Susy Massetti joins Sheraton Deira Hotel as Executive Chef

Her cuisine will be found at the hotel's signature outlet - The Terrace, the Le Café, an informal outlet serving snacks and light refreshments and The Lindbergh's, a piano style English bar serving bar & bite food.

'Food is my passion' says Chef Susy whose style of cooking can be defined as a 'medley of tasty deep Tuscan, home-style Italian cooking, Mediterranean French Gourmet and Spanish flavors. A 'hands-on' person, she enjoys playing with cuisines by adding a modern twist on the traditional.

Her 5 star work repertoire includes Sheraton Abu Dhabi Resort & Towers as Executive Sous Chef and The Diplomat Radisson SAS, Bahrain. Susy has also accomplished opening and managing stand alone restaurants like the Yoshi's Downtown in Savannah, and the Zanzare Inc. in Atlanta. She holds a degree from Accademia d'Arte Brera in Milano and completed courses in Cheese making from Caseficio Morra, Italy and Bakery courses from Il Panifcio, Borgo Ticino, Italy.

Susz is also known as being the author of 'Mangia', a book of 70 recipes with a new take on Italian and Mediterranean Contemporary cuisine and details on Fresh Italian cooking.

To add to her many talent's, Susy's a certified HACCP trainer besides her skills include nutrition and sanitation.

Presentations and design are one of Susz's strongest features, which you can witness this coming month of October at the Sheraton Deira's signature restaurant, lobby level - The Terrace which will be featuring the Pasta promotion with Chef Suzy on the forefront, happy to give you a cooking demo on easy steps for Pasta cooking and any queries on Italian or Mediterranean style of cuisines.
