Fleming Gulf's 'Mena Natural Gas Distribution Summit' to be held in Cairo

Up until a few years ago, Natural gas was considered the poor cousin of oil production in the Mena region. Though it is the ideal fuel for electricity generation, natural gas was not readily available in all locations.

While conversion to natural gas is encouraged, Mena has been relatively slow to get into the natural gas age. Today natural gas is at the centre of the energy sector. As the natural gas energy distribution continues to grow worldwide, it is playing a particularly important role in the Mena region.
