New Director of Sales and Marketing appointed at Kempinski Hotel Ajman

Kempinski Hotel Ajman welcomes 14-year stalwart of the local hospitality industry, Ramzy Andrew Faris, to the post of Director of Sales and Marketing.

"Ramzy has had an enviable career in this field, spending over a decade working with leading hospitality brands in the UAE's highly competitive market. His local insight and solid corporate, MICE and leisure experience will serve him well in his new position, and we look forward to his plans and ideas to take Kempinski Hotel Ajman to the next level," said Ulrich T. Eckhardt, Managing Director, Kempinski Hotel Ajman.

A Lebanese national, Faris completed his education and professional training in Switzerland and the United States before commencing his career in the hospitality industry in Cyprus.

Faris moved to the UAE in 1995, joining the Forte Grand Jumeirah Beach Hotel as Restaurant Manager, before moving to the role of Sales Manager at the Sofitel City Centre Hotel, Dubai, in 1997.

Faris has since worked in managerial and directorial sales and marketing positions in some of the UAE's most respected hotels and resorts.

Faris says he is excited about his new role as part of the Kempinski family;

A keen sportsman with an interest in tennis, basketball, swimming and sailing, Faris is fluent in English, Arabic and French allowing him to reach out to a global audience and an international set of industry contacts with ease.
