Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank opens new Marina Mall Branch in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), a leading regional Islamic bank, announced the opening of its new branch at Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi, to be a part of the bank's network of 50 branches in the UAE.

This is in line with ADIB's expansion plan to open 10 new branches in the UAE in 2009 and its strategy to provide its services across a wider geographical scope.

The new branch, located on the first floor of Marina Mall, will offer customers a large portfolio of Sharia'a compliant products for individuals and businesses.

"The opening of our latest branch in AUH is proof of the strong and growing demand for Islamic banking services in the UAE. In addition, our aggressive expansion plan to open 10 more branches in 2009 is part of our promise to provide greater access to our clients. Our 24 branches in Abu Dhabi itself clearly reflect our desire to be closer to our customers,"



said Tirad Mahmoud, Chief Executive Officer of ADIB.

The Marina Mall branch will be headed by Hassan AlShamsi, a UAE National and staffed by a capable UAE National team which reflects the Bank's aim to support and develop their Emirati human resource.
