This ongoing recruitment drive is to build the healthcare team for Emaar Healthcare's flagship project, The Dubai Mall Medical Centre, launching soon, as well as clinics in the Meadows and Arabian Ranches communities opening later this year. These projects form a major element in Emaar's strategy of developing integrated lifestyle communities and enhancing the quality of life within these communities.
Emaar Healthcare has partnered with Methodist International (MI), the international arm of US-based premier healthcare provider The Methodist Hospital, to deliver world-class healthcare innovations. The Methodist Hospital is recognised as one of the leading hospitals in the United States and is ranked eighth in Fortune's top 100 companies to work for. Emaar Healthcare and Methodist International will work together to build upon that expertise in order to ensure all staff have the very best resources to encourage professional development.
Mr Omar Al Shunnar, Chief Executive Officer, Emaar Healthcare Group, said that the current recruitment drive signals the commitment of the company to partner in the social and economic growth of Dubai.
"Healthcare has been one of the pillars of the strong community welfare standards of the UAE, and we are not only bringing in world-class medical expertise but also creating new jobs, which will further strengthen market confidence."
He added:
"Over the past months, we have been putting in place the highest international standards for rolling out modern healthcare centres that will meet the requirements of residents in Dubai. The Dubai Mall Medical Centre, located in The Dubai Mall, is the largest out-patient centre in the region, and will not only cater for the community but residents in the surrounding areas too."
In line with Emaar Healthcare's commitment to implement international standards and best practices, all healthcare practitioners have to undergo Primary Source Verification to ensure that they maintain the highest calibre and quality of healthcare delivery. All candidates are reviewed by MI experts before final selections are made. The staff recruited for Emaar Healthcare's new facilities will ultimately ensure excellent customer service to deliver the utmost in patient experiences.
Lynn Schroth, Chief Executive Officer, Methodist International said: "At Methodist International we are dedicated to delivering the highest level of healthcare to the community. For nearly 100 years, the Methodist name has been synonymous with quality care. Our own recruitment processes have led The Methodist Hospital to be awarded No. 1 in the U.S. for patient satisfaction and listed as one of the best companies to work for by Fortune Magazine. We are working closely with Emaar Healthcare to bring international best practices to the region and deliver world-class healthcare through the upcoming medical centre and clinics."
With clinical quality at the core of our focus, all staff at Emaar Healthcare will have to ensure that they continually keep up to date with the latest medical advances and technologies, through ongoing and intensive learning programmes, developed and delivered by Methodist International. To further support and consolidate these knowledge exchange activities, all staff will also have access to the Methodist Hospital Health Library and other resources. In addition, there is the provision for cross training at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, to understand the advances in healthcare delivery first hand, and transfer the knowledge and best practices to the facilities.
As the flagship healthcare facility by Emaar Healthcare, The Dubai Mall Medical Centre will open soon offering a wide range of healthcare specialties, meeting the requirements of the residents and visitors to Downtown Burj Dubai. Following the same international protocols and service standards, the community clinics will offer general medicine as well as select specialties that are integral to modern lifestyle communities.
