Etisalat makes offer for Millicom assets in Sri Lanka

Emirates Telecommunications (Etisalat) said it recently made an offer to buy the mobile-phone assets of Millicom International Cellular in Sri Lanka, Bloomberg has reported. Millicom, which provides prepaid wireless services in emerging markets, is selling assets in Asia to limit competitive and political risks.
