  • PRESS RELEASE

The Oil Barons Ball 2009 is proud to announce that this year's Master of Ceremonies will be Rob McCaffrey, the popular Showsports' English Premier League presenter.

McCaffrey will take up his duties as MC at the Media City Amphitheatre on Friday, 20 November 2009 where the event will pay tribute to 50 years of Motown as well as crowning the Oil Baron 2009, an individual who has made a significant contribution to the energy industry over the past 12 months.

Rob McCaffrey said:

"It is an honour to take on the role as the Master of Ceremonies at The Oil Barons Ball 2009, which recognises the hard work of both companies and individuals within the oil industry."

Now in its 7th year, it is one of the most established events in the region's social calendar and the largest event of it's kind internationally.

"I have heard tickets are in high demand, but I can't believe the only way for me to get an invite to this event was for me to take on the role of MC for the evening! I look forward to working with the organisers and to hosting a fantastic night on the 20 November and becoming part of this amazing event at Media City." McCaffrey said.
