Zee, a Canadian national, is joining from InterContinental Hotel Kiev, where he was in charge of the pre-opening Sales & Marketing operations for the past 2 years.
He first started his career as Banquet Sales Manager at the Ritz-Carlton in Quebec, Canada before moving to the Middle East to join the InterContinental Hotels Group where he spent 12 years between United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Bahrain and Ukraine in the Capacity of Director of Sales & Marketing.
Zee has gained valuable experience of the Bahrain market as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Crowne Plaza Bahrain, where he worked from 2005 - 2008.
Zee Bassila has officially joined us on August 16, 2009. In his new role, he will be leading the Sales, Revenue & Reservations, Events and Marketing Communication team. He will be in charge of top line revenue production, cost management, distribution and e-marketing as well as group and event sales, partnership marketing and customer relationship management.
