Banking and Islamic finance lawyer joins Latham & Watkins in the Middle East

Morris is a banking and Islamic finance lawyer with more than four years regional experience advising financial institutions and corporations on a wide range of conventional and Islamic finance transactions in the MENA region. Morris has advised on a number of multi-source, and wholly Islamic, project financings as well as syndicated debt and asset finance transactions across all GCC jurisdictions.

Morris' arrival further bolsters the firm's Islamic finance practice which includes a number of experienced attorneys in the region as well as in the US and Europe.

Morris joins from Norton Rose's Dubai office. He received his LLB from University College London in 2000. He holds the Islamic Finance Qualification issued by the UK's Security and Investment Institute.
