"We are delighted at EMC to have introduced this innovative 'cost per kilometer' contract where the service agreement is a convenient and potentially cost-saving initiative as it provides our customers with flexibility when they need it most. We are already seeing a number of customers benefitting from this arrangement whereby their costs are easy to manage and totally dependent on vehicle usage,"
commented Mr. Daniel Fitzjohn, General After-Sales Manager, Commercial Vehicles.
Further to this, EMC has also introduced an expanded range of fixed-price Service Agreement options for trucks and vans with inclusions such as wear and tear repairs and extended manufacturer's warranty. Customers also have the opportunity to cover the fees of the contract in installments over several months.
All service and maintenance contract packages include comprehensive driver training by manufacturer trained professionals, thus giving peace of mind for the fleet operator that their assets are driven in a professional and efficient manner, minimizing unnecessary downtime and reducing fuel consumption.
"The commercial vehicles industry is a thriving business in the UAE as there are many expansions planned in the region over the next few years with the market recovering rapidly. Also, largely due to the country's development of public transportation, the sector is undergoing much growth and demand for heavy and light-weight vehicles," said Mr. Irfan Tansel, General Manager of EMC.
Emirates Motor Company, in line with the dealership's parent company Al Fahim Group, has a mission to deliver superior services and innovative customer solutions. With the introduction of flexible service contracts this assures the safety, security and high performance of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle, while maintaining overall cost efficiency and product re-sale values.
