The EB-84, EB-85, EB-826W, and the high-end EB-825 feature expanded connectivity options, allowing a greater number and variety of devices to be connected to the EB-8 Series, including USB B, microphone inputs, two computer RGB inputs, wireless options and usability with Epson's new document camera. Wireless connectivity has also been enhanced with the 'Quick Wireless Connection' feature, which enables users to gain a connection in seconds.
The new EB-8 Series has been equipped with a quick start-up feature that has helped improve usability and efficiency. After switching on any model in the EB-8 Series, images are projected within seconds. The USB display function also allows for instant projection without the need for any manual set-up. In addition, the EB-8 Series offers greater flexibility with the automatic Vertical Keystone correction, ensuring that a well squared screen is projected automatically every time. The flexible x1.6 optical zoom allows easy presentation in small or large classrooms and meeting rooms. The EB-826W model offers WXGA resolution widescreen capability; providing 30% extra screen space compared with XGA resolution. These projectors can also be monitored over a network.
Adding to the outstanding capabilities of the EB-84, EB-85 and EB-826W, the high-end EB-825 offers an outstanding Colour Light Output (CLO) of 3,000 lumens. Through the dramatic improvement of Epson's pioneering E-TORL lamps and innovative 3LCD technology, now in its 20th year, projection is possible in any light condition, with great colours and exceptional overall quality every time. In Eco mode, an Epson lamp now has an outstanding lamp life of 6,000 hours, lowering the total cost of ownership to users and the impact on the environment. Epson's E-TORL lamp can achieve a Colour Light Output of 3,000 lumens using just a 200W lamp.
As with all Epson products, environmental performance has been a primary consideration and each model is developed to deliver exceptional energy efficient. The materials used to produce the EB-8 Series are recyclable and innovative technologies such as E-TORL and 3LCD ensure all the machines are running at optimum environmental efficiency, reducing power consumption and energy use.
