Maximus Air Cargo appoints Zed Communications for public relations services

Maximus Air Cargo, the largest all-cargo airline in the UAE, announced the appointment of Zed Communications to handle its local and international public relations business.

The agreement was signed in Abu Dhabi and took effect on 1st September 2009.

Thomas Bommer, Marketing Manager of Maximus Air Cargo said: "Our relationship with Zed is very good indeed and we have been particularly impressed by their high level of professionalism and ability to deliver against tight deadlines."

Bommer added:

"Zed has shown dedication in meeting our high standards. Now that they've launched their PR division, it's only logical to appoint them for all our communications requirements."


Robert Mitchell, Managing Director of Zed Communications, said: "Maximus is an outstandingly well managed company. This is a great opportunity to further strengthen the brand, by integrating PR with our current 360 degree branding approach."

Maximus Air Cargo currently employs over 150 people and operates a fleet of eight all-cargo aircraft, across the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia.

Maximus Air Cargo was established in 2005 to provide tailored solutions for moving outsized cargo. After operating for only just over 4 years in the region, it is now a significant regional player, employing more than 150 staff and operating a fleet of eight all-cargo Antonov An-124-100, Airbus A300-600RF, Ilyushin IL-76TD, and Lockheed Hercules L382G aircraft across the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia.
