- Kuwait: Thursday, September 17 - 2009 at 11:04
According to a report by the National Bank of Kuwait, the country's 2009/10 budget could see a surplus of up to KD6.2bn, on higher-than-forecast oil prices, Reuters has reported. If oil prices remained at an average of $69 a barrel for the rest of the fiscal year, and expenditures came in 5% to 10% lower than the KD12.12bn approved budget for 2009/10, the country could post a surplus of between KD1.1bn and KD6.2bn, the report said.
