"Each day during Ramadan, several thousand Muslims break their fast by taking part in the Iftar meal at mosques and charitable institutions in the Kingdom. We were keen on making a small yet meaningful contribution during the holy month by including our juices in the Iftar meal, after all Ramadan is the month of giving and sharing," said Monther Al Harthi, Chief Executive Officer, Al Rabie Saudi Foods Co. Ltd.

"Moreover, we consider it a great honour to be able to make a contribution during the holy month and help thousands of our Muslim brothers break their fast in keeping with the true spirit of Ramadan,"

he added.

Al Rabie recently affirmed its year-long support for the Ministry of Islamic Affairs' Cooperative Office for Call and Guidance in Jeddah in the form of product and financial donations.

The beverage and dairy products manufacturer actively contributes to various social and charitable causes as well as non-profit organisations, especially those involved in the development of the Kingdom's food sciences and nutrition sector in line with its corporate vision of "Health for All." Al Rabie's support to the Office for Call and Guidance reflects its strong commitment to helping spread the Islamic faith and raising awareness on its fundamental concepts.

Al Rabie's core businesses are juices, nectars, and dairy products. It was the first dairy and juice company in the Middle East and the third internationally to use TetraPak's Tetra Prisma aseptic packaging.

Al Rabie, a multiple awardee of the King Fahd prize for factory safety practices, is sustaining an expansion program it launched in 2008 aimed at boosting local and export markets through strategic distribution investments.
